my name is Alex and the reason why I made this page is my love for sound and videogame sound-tracks. Since 2011 started my approach in making electronic music, especially influenced by endless childhood memories in gaming.

My way of making music

I play the piano, work with the DAW FL-Studio and sample lots of sounds on my own if needed. In combination with a Native Instruments Machine and Jam it is possible to achieve very rhythmic and bassy beats. On the other hand going classic with the keyboard and improvisation, with feeling into the needed mood there is much space for playful and emotional tunes&tracks.

What does Arekuza mean?

The name comes from the Japanese abbreviation for “Arekusanda” which is just my name in Japanese. Having some friends there and being influenced by a lot of Japanese video games plus melodies may have resulted in that, besides being a teenager back then.

It is spoken {a-re-coo-za}.

🎶 I heavily focus on melodies and repetitive earworm potentials.
